Boards & Committees
North Clackamas Parks and Recreation District (NCPRD) relies on the guidance and input of several boards and committees to shape its parks, programs, and services. These groups ensure that the voices of the community are represented and help guide key decisions. Explore the roles of each board and committee below.
Board of Directors
The NCPRD Board of Directors is composed of the five-member Board of County Commissioners for Clackamas County. Acting as the governing body of NCPRD, the Board oversees policies, budgets, and strategic direction.
District Advisory Committee (DAC)
The District Advisory Committee provides recommendations to the NCPRD Board of Directors on the design, planning, and development of parks, as well as the provision of recreational programs. DAC members play a vital role in ensuring the needs and voices of residents are represented in key decisions and policies.
Budget Committee
The Budget Committee reviews and approves NCPRD’s annual budget. Members must be residents of the district and are appointed to three-year terms. Meetings typically occur winter and spring.
Milwaukie Community Center Advisory Board (MCCAB)
The Milwaukie Community Center Advisory Board advises the Milwaukie Community Center staff and NCPRD’s District Advisory Board on policies and programs.
