Big Surf

Discover your next adventure during Big Surf Recreation Swim, the ultimate way to enjoy the exciting features at North Clackamas Aquatic Park! This recreational swim time is open to the public and boasts 400,000 gallons of water fun. Rain or shine, the water is always a comfortable 86 degrees year-round.

Seven days a week (Monday-Sunday)

Choose from two swim sessions

Noon-1:30 p.m. or 2-3:30 p.m.

The facility will be closed the following days

July 4 and Sept 1
 

What's Included

Big Surf Recreation Swim consists of an hour and a half swim session to dive into fun and explore the many exciting features at the Aquatic Park, including the wave pool, water slides, interactive fountain, kiddie pool, hot tub, and rock wall.

Know Before You Go

  • Individuals 9 years and younger must be accompanied in the water by a responsible supervisor 13 years of age or older at all times (ratio of one supervisor for up to three children. A two to one ratio for children under 3 years).
  • Swimmers must be at least 4 feet tall, and 250 lbs. or less, to ride the water slides. Individuals less than 48 inches tall may ride the Sammy the Seal slide.
  • Complimentary lockers are included with all admissions, with a $5 deposit or photo ID per key.
  • Denim or swimwear with buckles, rivets, or zippers are prohibited on the water slides.
  • A shower is required before entering the pools.
  • Goggles are not allowed on the slides or the diving board.
  • Non-U.S. Coast Guard approved floating devices, swim aides, and water wings are not allowed in any pool.
  • Individuals must be 18 years of age or older to use the hot tub.
