Nutrition

The Nutrition Program at the Milwaukie Community Center is dedicated to providing accessible education and support to community members, promoting healthy eating habits, and delivering healthy and affordable meals.
Meals on Wheels
The Milwaukie Community Center’s Meals on Wheels program provides nutritious meals to homebound older adults and their caregivers (60 and older) who cannot shop or cook for themselves. Meals are delivered by dedicated volunteers Monday through Friday, rain or shine.
Pete’s Café
While at the Milwaukie Community Center, make a stop at Pete’s Café for a coffee or a bite to eat. Delicious offerings include specialty salads, homemade soup, made-to-order sandwiches, hamburgers, hot dogs, and warm and cold beverages. The café is open 9 a.m. to 12:45 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Trillium Lunch
A hot, well-balanced lunch is served Monday through Friday from 11:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Milwaukie Community Center. We suggest a donation of $5 for individuals aged 60 and over, and a $6 charge per meal for those under 60.
