Sara Hite Memorial Rose Garden
Sarah Hite Rose Garden is a hidden gem just waiting for you to discover. Nestled immediately south of the Milwaukie Community Center, this vibrant rose garden comes to life with stunning blooms each summer. As you step into the garden, you'll be greeted by a gazebo and lovely red brick plaza at its center, surrounded by beautifully manicured rose beds, charming walkways, and benches perfect for taking a moment to relax.
The tall shrubs that frame the garden add a sense of privacy, making it a serene spot to unwind and admire the beautiful roses. The rose garden is an ideal location for weddings and special events, and is available to rent for special events. Sara Hite Memorial Rose Garden is located immediately south of Milwaukie Community Center and the entrance to North Clackamas Park.

- Sara Hite Rose Garden opens half an hour before sunrise and closes half an hour after sunset.
- The walking path is wheelchair accessible.
- The best time for viewing roses is July through September.
- A parking lot, shared with Milwaukie Community Center Foundation and North Clackamas Park, provides ample parking.
- Dogs and pets must remain on the leash at all times. Please pick up after your dog.
