This 2-acre neighborhood park includes a nature-inspired playground with climbing boulders, logs, and swings for varying ages and abilities. A picnic shelter provides the perfect place for hosting a small gathering or enjoying a lunch in the shade, while the adjacent basketball court is ready for shooting hoops with friends.

A walking path encircles the park, including an open lawn area. The park is walking distance to the nearby Hidden Falls Nature Park. This park was built in coordination with Icon Construction, the developers of the adjacent Hidden Falls neighborhood. Pioneer Park is the last of the six Sunnyside Village parks that were identified through the Sunnyside Village Plan, adopted within the Clackamas County Comprehensive Plan in 1993.
