Boardman Wetlands Nature Park

Boardman Wetlands Nature Park is a tranquil urban oasis located in the heart of the Jennings Lodge community, offering visitors a serene escape to experience nature and engage in recreational activities. A 1,500-ft. boardwalk trail winds its way through the wetland with scenic views and overlook areas, allowing visitors to get a closer look at the diversity of underwater plants and wildlife. This park is ideal for photography enthusiasts and bird-watchers—be on the lookout for red-winged blackbirds, northwest tree frogs, and even baby ducklings in the spring.
In addition to its natural beauty, the park includes a nature-inspired play area for children, an outdoor classroom plaza, and a hands-on education area with pond access. The project was developed through a partnership between NCPRD and Oak Lodge Water Services District, with grant support from Metro and the Oregon Parks and Recreation Department.
